Windshield Heat Element Soldering Cell

Soldering heat elements to a windshield needs to be precise and repeatable. We programmed this robot to pick up a heating element from one of two manually loaded trays and take it over to the glass conveyor. We designed a fixture to grab the glass so the robot can locate the correct spot on the glass and solder the heating element into place. The robot then checks to make sure the solder is good then picks up another element just in time for the next unit to come down the line.
