CNC Machinist

Machinists fulfill the critical role of bringing designs to life in production. We build various projects ranging from simple templates and fixtures to fully automated robot work cells. Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated well-rounded and experienced individual with a strong mechanical background and an exceptional attention to detail.

Our CNC machinists produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) milling machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. We currently use HAAS CNC mills with SolidCam software.

Experience with and the ability to run standard manual machinery including but not limited to: mills, lathes, surface grinders, saws etc. is also required.

Shop Hand Apprentice - Full Time - Immediate Opening

We are an established and steadily growing automation and specialty machine company looking to fill a shop hand or apprentice position. We offer a competitive wage, full time benefit package, steady flow of work, and innovative shop environment. This is a first shift position.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
• Performing stock checks
• Inventorying job carts
• Organizing job carts
• Organizing the shop floor and cleaning
• Errand running
• Preparing parts and equipment for shipping
• Cleaning, trash and basic machine maintenance
• Basic machine assembly.
• Pulling Orders

Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read a tape measure and preferably calipers / micrometers
• Knowledge of and experience with basic hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills
• Forklift experience a plus

Machine Electrician

We are an established and steadily growing automation and specialty machine company looking to fill a Controls Assembler position. We are looking for a talented individual to help us continue to grow. We offer a competitive wage and benefit package, steady flow of work, and an innovative shop environment where we wear many different hats. This is a first shift position.

Role and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Build custom control panels
• Interpret electric and fluid power schematics
• Collaborate with machine builders, controls engineers, and mechanical engineers to create the best solution to unique customer challenges.
• Assemble equipment according to approved design and customer specifications
• Ensure that changes and problems are documented and relayed and serves as a team member
• Communicate with Project Manager regarding open issues and progress during build process
• Assist with successful execution of assigned programs as they relate to cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area
• Focus on quality of output
• Effectively and safely troubleshoot wiring and circuits, wire according to NEC, and read/understand schematics
• Has own comprehensive tools for efficiency.
• Eagerness to take on challenges & work through adversity is a must.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent certificate
• Five (5) years' electrical experience preferably with equipment building
• Proficiency in wiring complex mechanical components
• Team player, able to take direction and be self-directed
• High regard for safety standards with organizational skills
• Varied electrical experience.
• Mechanical aptitude. Hands on experience.
• Travel for install and runoffs with customer (minimal)
